When I got the Jayson Lee - she was set up like a LS6 Chevelle SS. All the SS badges, a 454 with a Turbo 400 Transmission. Painted Cortez Silver with SS stripes and a black vinyl top.
Fortunately for me, the car was build in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. There is a historical organization outside the factory that keeps records on every car that was built in the factory. The name of the company is Vintage Vehicle Services Inc. I was able to send them the VIN and Body Tag. The beauty of it being built in that factory is that if it was a true SS the body tag would have the code for it - you would not need the build sheet. Unfortunately for me, the LS6 and 454 options were not built in Oshawa, they built the Z25 option - SS 396. So my car was a tribute. A beautiful tribute, more about that in the Street Fighter Tab.
The organization sent me back the build sheet, I had a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle 300 Deluxe. Neat fact is that the 300 Deluxe was not available for sale in the United States in the 1970 model. The US stopped selling it in 1969. So, the vehicle is a Canada build and was only sold in Canada. Only 3,048 of this model were built that year.
